HealthFitness has a great opportunity for an on-call (# of hours based on demand)Child Care Attendantat our client site in Georgetown, KY. This premier program consists of a 40,000 square ft. fitness facility complete with a variety of cardiovascular equipment, a full line of Paramount and Keiser strength equipment, 2,000 square feet of free weights, indoor jogging track, aerobics studio, collegiate size gymnasium, multi-purpose room, child care area and more. Additionally, this program includes an outdoor recreation park complete with softball fields, volleyball courts, tennis courts, a basketball court, and picnic area. Serving over 4,000 members nearly 24 hours per day, this program incorporates comprehensive health, wellness and recreational programming. As theChild Care Attendant, you will supervise and provide a safe environment for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in of children and parents.
- Provide a safe, comfortable environment for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 12 years.
- Positive interaction with parents, children and fellow staff members.
- Light paperwork processing – records, reservations, attendance, cleaning metrics.
- Light housekeeping – sanitization of toys, general pick-up.
- Perform Kid’s Korner opening/closing procedures.
- Customer service and member relations’ management.
- Implement activities as outlines in the Business Plan and as directed by the Attendant Lead.
- Other duties as assigned by the Attendant Lead.
Education and/or Experience:
- 1+ years experience in caring for children required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid including child and infant certification preferred, but required prior to start date.
